Unfortunately I have no plans made for my glorious week-long reading break.
No, that’s not true. I do plan on getting my Intervention Strategy Client Assessment paper done, and hopefully get half my Addictions paper written, and then study for the midterm that I have the day after I return for Halifax. Yay. How delightfully fun.
However, I forsee myself not completely my self-assigned tasks. And this is largely because being reunited with my sister equals all play and no work. Also, I have become very obsessed with Star Trek: The Next Generation (and so has Shona, of course) so I’m going to assume that the few times during which we won’t be blabbing to each other will be spent on watching Captain Picard whoop galactic ass.
Lets hope my sister and I exhibit self control and be productive (paha, sure).
And if I don’t get any work done, then at least I can cheer myself up by pigging out on my mom’s delicious cooking. Aw yiissss..
“I like to see people reunited, I like to see people run to each other, I like the kissing and the crying, I like the impatience, the stories that the mouth can’t tell fast enough, the ears that aren’t big enough, the eyes that can’t take in all of the change, I like the hugging, the bringing together, the end of missing someone.”
