Back in SJ

The past few days has been such a whirlwind of activity so it’s nice to be back to doing absolutely nothing ( I’ll regret saying that later, I know it). Nonetheless, I’m mildly pleased to be back – back to fog and smog and putrid smelling streets of fart! Lol, I kid the saint johners (but it’s true).

Driving back from Bangor to Saint John was not a nice ride. I was studying for my final I had the next day at 9AM and reading my text  and memorizing while inside a car in motion made me feel disgustingly nauseous. Unfortunately, it had to be done. I was a little behind where I was supposed to be at in my studying but it was all right. Turned out I was worrying for nothing; the exam was a-ok.

Looking back on the trip, I’m glad we did all the things we did. Granted it didn’t encompass every single thing I wanted to do, but there’s a silver lining in that because this means I have to come back to New York City again. Next time around, we’re not going to do the ‘New-York-y’ things of the city (I think we got most of that covered on this trip); we’re going to be up to a whole lot of other stuff that’s going to make our trip way more fun.

Until then though, I need to look forward to the few things I have lined up for the next couple of weeks like a few interviews, an office clean up and possibly, a Fredericton trip. I really hope we don’t see a lot lot of fog and rain in the next few weeks of summer. Nothing feels better than sunshine.

Now time for me to take a nice, long nap.
